Wedding at Grand Hyatt

Posted in Performances on February 3rd, 2011 by admin – 2 Comments

Our very first engagement for 2011 was for Christine and Paul’s wedding. It has to be a good start to the year when we get an affirmative reply from our client:

Yes. I think you guys are AWESOME! Paul has a few favourite tunes. I’ll forward you the list when I get it off him and you can let us know if it’s ok to play them. If not then I’ll leave it to your good hands J

The wedding was held on a rooftop/poolside garden beside Oasis Restaurant at Grand Hyatt Singapore. A garden in the middle of bustling Orchard road.

Situated inside the pavilion, we played a set of music for the arriving guests, and Canon in D for the bridal march-in.

We then played another set as the guests mingled around for photos with the couple.

It was very nice of Christine to send us a few SMSes later to thank us, and also to post on our Facebook page! We wish her and Paul all the best as they settle back in Australia.

I think now my friends want a garden wedding with strings too. The whole day was such a party! Thanks for playing such a big role to that party. :)

Kevin and Satsuki held their wedding banquet at Goodwood Park Hotel last December, for which we performed 2 sets. We would like to thank Kevin and his family for their compliments!

Your music definitely made a big difference and we’ll be recommending you to our friends who may be in need of a string quartet!

Many thanks to the Resonance Quartet for your help in making the event a very successful one, Jay, and for your kind wishes for Satsuki & Kevin.

Wedding at Capella Singapore

It was a lovely evening at the luxurious Capella Singapore at Sentosa, where we played 2 sets of string quartet music  for Vanessa and Hsin Chih’s wedding banquet. We would like to thank the couple for engaging us, their parents for the unexpected gifts, and to Marilyn of The Flying Dutchman for a well-coordinated event!
