Fred Perry Subculture – 22 April at Zouk, Singapore

When Resonance Quartet was approached by Amnesty Pte Ltd to be part of the lineup for their 3rd Singapore installment of the Fred Perry Subculture event, we were honestly caught by surprise. However, Cheryl, marketing and PR manager of Amnesty, in a post-event meetup, explained that she saw what she exactly wanted when someone passed her a link to our videos for Halloween Killed The Video Stars. One thing leads to another.

Coverage by JUICE and I-S magazines (the “classical innovators” term is quite interesting)

Playing a medley of UK pop-rock pieces arranged for string quartet by Wen-Bin, we wrapped up the live act segment with a rousing finale backed by Elektone and Tiramisu (and the audience by singing along!), before DJ Aldrin took over the dance floor.

People’s Association Appreciation Dinner

The People’s Association held an appreciation dinner for their interest group participants in a recent event. Resonance Quartet was engaged to perform 2 sets of live string music for the evening atop the National Library Building, at the Pod.

We were lucky to have professional photographers from Live! Studios covering the event. They produced namecard-sized photos, printed during the event itself, as keepsakes for the participants. We have to thank them again for taking these wonderful shots of us and providing them to us so conveniently!
