2 months after we played for Kevin’s wedding at the Grand Hyatt, we were pleasantly surprised to receive an email from Kevin with a testimonial and photos!

Wedding: 23 March @ The Grand Hyatt Hotel

Dear Resonance Quartet,
Thank you for playing at our wedding banquet.
As we prepared for our wedding, we knew we wanted something special in the area of music.
We saw your website and listened to your pieces.
We knew that we had to have your quartet at our happy occasion.
I am so pleased that you were able to create a soothing ambience.
We are happy to recommend you to any prospective newlyweds.

cheers
Kevin and Nana.

Wedding at Grand Hyatt

Our very first engagement for 2011 was for Christine and Paul’s wedding. It has to be a good start to the year when we get an affirmative reply from our client:

Yes. I think you guys are AWESOME! Paul has a few favourite tunes. I’ll forward you the list when I get it off him and you can let us know if it’s ok to play them. If not then I’ll leave it to your good hands J

The wedding was held on a rooftop/poolside garden beside Oasis Restaurant at Grand Hyatt Singapore. A garden in the middle of bustling Orchard road.

Situated inside the pavilion, we played a set of music for the arriving guests, and Canon in D for the bridal march-in.

We then played another set as the guests mingled around for photos with the couple.

It was very nice of Christine to send us a few SMSes later to thank us, and also to post on our Facebook page! We wish her and Paul all the best as they settle back in Australia.

I think now my friends want a garden wedding with strings too. The whole day was such a party! Thanks for playing such a big role to that party. :)
